At Nava Foods Limited, our commitment to quality begins at the source — the farms. Through our Smallholder Farmer Partnership Program, we aim to build strong, lasting relationships with small-scale farmers across Nigeria and Africa to promote sustainable agriculture, improve livelihoods, and ensure premium-quality food products for local and international markets.

Farmer Identification & Onboarding

We actively identify smallholder farmers growing crops essential to our product line such as cassava, oil palm, melon seed, ogbono, and crayfish. Farmers are vetted, registered, and onboarded through local cooperatives and agricultural extension networks.

Capacity Building & Training

Through periodic training workshops and field visits, our team provides farmers with practical knowledge on: Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Post-harvest handling and storage techniques, Organic and sustainable farming methods Health and safety compliance aligned with NAFDAC and SON standards

Input Support

We provide selected farmers with improved seeds, organic fertilizers, farm tools, and other agricultural inputs ensuring higher productivity and better crop quality.

Farm Monitoring & Technical Assistance

Our agronomists and field officers conduct regular farm assessments, offering technical support, crop monitoring, pest control guidance, and yield forecasting.

Offtake Agreements

To ensure income security, we establish fair and transparent offtake agreements with our partner farmers. We guarantee to buy their produce at competitive rates, giving them confidence and a reliable market for their harvest.

Processing & Repackaging

Once harvested, farm produce is transported to our processing facility where it undergoes cleaning, sorting, UV sterilization, and repackaging under hygienic conditions. All products are processed to meet both local and international food safety standards.

Market Access & Export Support

Finished goods are distributed across local markets and exported through our growing international network. This gives our partner farmers pride and visibility as contributors to a global food system.
